Reconditioning is the process of cycling individual battery modules through a carefully designed range of parameters. Taking these batteries outside their normal window of operation is necessary to optimize the battery chemistry. Cycling disrupts and breaks up the microscopic crystalline structures that build up over time within the battery cell. The chemical process taking place in the cell is more efficient with a greater available surface area. The result is a battery that can hold more energy with increased capacity.

The process we use consistently gives us high quality end products. Hybrid battery Service uses the same procedure for every pack that is rebuilt. It starts with conditioning, analyzing and organizing a large catalog of NiMH modules. From there each pack is designed using select modules paired and placed for optimum balance. Prearranged and locked together the internal pack assembly is connected in series with polished busbars for optimum conductivity. Zink coated hardware helps to reduce corrosion buildup that can rob power and create heat through excessive voltage drops. Battery pack cooling passages are cleaned of debris to maximize airflow and cooling system efficiency. All control mechanisms are tested for proper operation. Each finished pack is fully covered for 24 months and will last much longer than that!
